Our Role: We Are a Cashback Platform, Not the Retailer

Welcome to koynax. It is important to understand that we are a cashback rewards platform, not an online store. We connect you with thousands of your favorite retailers and facilitate earning cashback on your purchases.

Key Implications:

  • We do not sell any products. All products are sold by and shipped from our partner retailers (e.g., Amazon, Flipkart, Myntra, etc.).
  • We do not handle returns, replacements, or exchanges for any products. We cannot process these requests.
  • We do not have access to your order's shipping status or inventory information.
This policy outlines how returns and replacements handled with the retailer affect your cashback rewards and how we can assist you in the process.

How Returns & Replacements Affect Your Cashback

The cashback you earn is a reward based on a completed sale. If that sale is reversed, the cashback is also reversed.

  • If you return a product for a full refund: The retailer will reverse the commission they paid us. Therefore, the cashback you earned for that purchase will be deducted (or "clawed back") from your Koynax account balance.
  • If you receive a partial refund: The retailer will reverse a proportional amount of the commission. The cashback you earned will be adjusted accordingly.
  • If you exchange a product or receive a replacement: The treatment of cashback depends on the retailer's system. In most cases:
    • If the exchange is processed as a return and a new purchase, the cashback from the original purchase will be reversed, and you may earn cashback on the new order if you use our link again.
    • If the exchange is processed as a direct replacement, the original cashback may sometimes be preserved. This is determined solely by the retailer.
Please note: If a cashback reversal makes your account balance negative (e.g., you already cashed out the earnings from the returned item), the negative balance will be deducted from your future cashback earnings.

Your Step-by-Step Guide for Returns/Replacements

Step 1: Contact the Retailer Directly
All requests for returns, refunds, replacements, and exchanges must be initiated directly with the retailer you purchased from. You can find their contact information and specific return policy on their website, usually under "Help," "Customer Service," or "Returns."
Step 2: Use the Correct Order Information
Have your retailer order confirmation number and purchase date ready. We cannot provide this information for you, as we are not the seller.
Step 3: (Optional) Inform Us for Tracking Purposes
While we cannot process your return, you may contact our support team to inform us of a pending return. This is not required but can help us provide context if you see an adjustment in your cashback balance.

What to Do If You Have an Issue with a Product

Since we are not the seller, we are limited in our ability to resolve product-specific issues. However, we are here to help guide you.

  • Defective, Damaged, or Incorrect Item: You must contact the retailer's customer service department immediately.
  • Shipping/Delivery Issues: You must contact the retailer or the shipping carrier (e.g., FedEx, UPS, USPS) they used.
  • Questions about Warranty: Please contact the retailer or the product manufacturer.
